The poem my mother at sixty six cbse sunmary and guide

Kamala das was an Indian English poet who recalls a trip to Cochin from her holiday at her parents' house. It was a Friday morning and that morning she was driving with her mother next to her on the front seat. She was observing her mother who had fallen asleep with her mouth slightly open. She could see her mom's face pale and resembled to the nearly white face like that of a dead body. She then realises that her mother was no longer young and had started to look very old.
This was very hard for her to accept so, she tried to shift her focus on something else. She turned her face away from her mom and looked outside the window of the car. She started looked at the trees they crossed while driving. It seemed to her that the tress were running at full speed past her because of the moving car. It seemed that those tresses would have been young of they could move at such a fast pace.
She also saw some enthusiast children coming out of their houses to play with fill excitement. After crossing these sights they reached airport.

Till now she was busy and distracted due to those sights. But now, when they were going through the security check,  she was standing a short distance away from her mother and saw her aged mom. Again her mind was filled with thoughts and a childhood fear of losing her mom one day. She was looking extremely pale amd lacking vigor. She compared her mom with the late winter's moon which slightly faded on winter's night.

This fear afficted her many times yet she didn't let the fear show itself on her face. She smiled and waved a goodbye to her mother. She gave the assurance that they would soon meet again and throughout the conversation she puts a.brave fave even though she was agonised within herself. Her smile is the most significant amd brave act to show that she was assured that they would meet again and have a nice time together.

SOME IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER :
1) the difference between the views outside amd her mom.
2) significant of the smile.
3) what does childish fear mean clearly amd how is it described and compared by the poet  in the poem in her situation?
4)the meaning of the phrase ' late winter moon'
